[edit] The EnvO Workshop: Developing an ontology for describing the environment of organisms / biological samples

[edit] Workshop Logistics

[edit] Dates

Wed 29th to Fri 31st, August, 2007

[edit] Meeting Location

The workshop will take place in the conference room (Rm 278), of the Oxford e-Research Centre at 7 Keble Road, Oxford.

The full address of the venue is :
Oxford e-Research Centre
7 Keble Road
Oxford
OX1 3QG
Tel: 01865 610600
Website: http://www.oerc.ox.ac.uk/

A member of the Ontology workshop will be at the main entrance to welcome delegates on Wednesday, but the main entrance is not normally manned, so if you arrive and find the entrance locked then please call this number to gain access 01865 610600.

NOTE:

On Thursday 30th a DPhil Viva will be taking place in a room near reception at the venue, so please be aware of the need for quiet during this period. Notices will be displayed at this time.

[edit] Directions

A map of the Oxford City centre showing Keble Road (near the University Parks), can be found here or click here to find the OeRC using Google Maps.

Finding a car parking space close to the venue is difficult and is usually restricted to on-street, 2 hour limits, therefore we suggest that delegates use the rail network to get to Oxford, or if driving, then to use the Park and Ride facilities located around the city. A map showing the Park and Ride locations around Oxford can be found here.

[edit] Accomodation

Accommodation for delegates will be arranged at a local hotel for the nights of Wed 29th and Thurs 30th August. Please contact Admin at the NEBC Admin Helpdesk for further information.
