[edit] GSC Logo Files

[edit] Notes from Dave regarding new files (March 2008)

  • reworked the logo using InkScape as an SVG which means it can be scaled to arbitrary sizes.
  • Very few programs can actually deal with SVGs so I've exported a selection of differently sized images for you. You can always use InkScape (it's free and multi-platform) to export any other sizes that you want (or just ask me to do it for you).
  • Whilst doing it, I realised that the shading on the background swirls was upside-down so I've taken this opportunity to fix it.
  • I've matched the font kerning as best I can, but it's not pixel exact with the existing image. I think it looks nicer now (although I always preferred the version with the text underneath)

[edit] SVG File

  • File can be edited using InkScape - http://www.inkscape.org/
  • From InkScape web site: An Open Source vector graphics editor, with capabilities similar to Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Xara X, using the W3C standard Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file format.
