We have now implemented XID's in the GCat software. This gives a unique ID (or XML ID) to each element in a schema.

Adding XIDs to a schema
It is now possible to add XID's automatically to a new schema uploaded into GCat. Once uploaded, instead of browsing for a schema locally, use the 'remote URL' upload function. Use this URL and this 'xid' function will look for the latest schema uploaded into GCat and add XID's to it.
