 GSC 14 will be held in Oxford, UK, September 18-20, 2012. There are plans for a satellite meeting on September 17 and a hackathon on September 21. More details to follow soon.

 An open-access article describing the GSC's MIxS standard has been published in Nature Biotechnology - it includes the MIMARKS checklist and the set of environmental packages applicable to all GSC checklists and beyond.
 GSC 12 and satellite meetings were held in Bremen, Germany from September 27-30, 2011. All of the slide presentations are available from the GSC 12 wiki page.
